A. Wal-Mart offers a competitive package of wages and benefits. We never pay at minimum wage in any province or territory. It is our practice to ensure that first-level minimum hire rate is always above minimum wage. Our hiring practices recognize an individual's skill and experience in determining a fair wage for that person which could result with a starting wage as high as $3 to $4 above provincial minimum wage.

Q. Does Wal-Mart have student wages?
A. We do not have student pay scales. They are hired on the same scales as all other associates.
