Canada’s new government introduces amendments to deny work permits to foreign strippe

Ottawa, May 16, 2007 -- The Honourable Diane Finley, Minister of Citizenship and Immigration, today introduced amendments to the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) to help prevent vulnerable foreign workers, including strippers, from being exploited or abused.
