"I Used To Act Dumb"

Los Angeles (eCanadaNow) - "I used to act dumb. That act is no longer cute." Paris Hilton says she's undergoing a change while behind bars. She dialed up "The View" and told Barbara Walters that jail stint has made her realize she must clean up her act, even hinting she might turn to charity work.
According to Walters, Paris said: "I feel as if I'm a different person. I used to act dumb. That act is no longer cute. Now, I would like to make a difference. God has given me this new chance."
Kathy Hilton, Paris' mother, is an old friend of Walters and the two were talking when Paris phoned on another line. When told that her mom was talking to Walters, Paris said she'd like to speak to The View's Host herself. Walters then agreed to accept a collect call from Paris in jail. All prisoners are required to call collect.
Apparently, Paris is also getting a dose of humility in the jail, as she told Walters: "I haven't looked in a mirror since I got here."
Humility doesn't extend to potty time though. Paris is so afraid of the guards snapping cell phone pictures of her sitting on the toilet that that is the reason she reportedly refused to eat or drink anything last week. She is fearful that toilet pics might show up on the internet. Really, after the all the Paris home videos that have been out there for years, what more could she possibly get embarrassed about?
And just how sick was Paris last week which promoted her early release? According to gossip Mike Evans who was hanging out outside her mansion on Friday with the media, a large truck was turned away when Paris was sent back to jail. The catering truck was full of supplies for Paris' get-out-of-jail party that was supposed to take place Friday night!
