cool stuff man. My friend had a hamster and I thought it was cool how you could place him in those round balls, and he'd just roll around in it haha

I love hamsters. I used to raise them and sell the young ones to the pet shop. I had one in particular that I favored. She was one of my female breeders and she was extremely tame and affectionate. She developed an abscess because of a cut from an oat grain in her food, and she really suffered so I had her put down humanely. Just a word of caution if you like hamsters and have them as pets, buy wild bird food that has lots of sunflower seeds and mix it with rabbit pellets. This is because if you buy a "hamster mix" they almost always have oats and they are really dangerous for you hamster to put in his pouches. I actually read that in a book, but it's weird that pet food manufacturers don't change the traditional hamster mix.
