Default Do you wear spectacles?

I have been prescribed a pair of spectacles by the opthalmologist. Since its going to be new experience for me, I was wondering if anyone here wears spectacles and would like to share their experience?

With 6hrs in front of PC daily, now i am beginning to feel the need for spectacles. Its been working fine untill now, but things have started blurring out lately, so i guess, spects is what i am going for this week. Better have eyes checked before its too late.

I have a bifocal and trust me it sucks!
I feel like dependant. Without glasses, my world changes. Everything shows up blurred. I can't read the words. The feeling of being dependant sucks!

I have been wearing glasses almost 35 years now. I wear a bifocal with no lines and a prism in the lens because it corrects seeing double (as if crosseyed). I am not sure what causes my eye problem but its muscular and my eyes change more often than most people. There are times I need to change every 6 months or so.
